Madrigal: a part-song for several voices without instrumental accompaniment.

Oxymoron: a figure of speech in which contradictory terms appear together (i.e., bittersweet).

Parable: a story told to illustrate moral or spiritual truth.

Pun: a joke that uses a word or words with multiple meanings.

Parody: a piece of writing, art or music that deliberately copies the style of someone

or something to be funny.

Pedantic: the style in which a writer displays his knowledge.

Pot-boiler: a book or picture produced only to bring in money.

Panegyric: a speech or text in praise of someone or something.
