Madrigal  – Part – song for several voices without instrumental accompaniment.

Ode – A poem addressed to a person or thing or celebration an event.

Oxymoron – A figure of speech apparently contradictory terms appear together                                   (i.e. Bittersweet).

Parable – Story told to illustrate moral or spiritual truth.

Pun – A joke that uses a word or words with more than one meaning.

Parody – A piece of writing, art or music that deliberately copies the style of someone

              or something in order to be funny.

Pedantic – Style in which writer makes a display of his knowledge.

Pot-boiler – Book or picture produced only to bring in money.

Panegyric – A speech or text in praise of someone or something.
