Numbers are very necessary in our life. Those are used to count the things. We know numbers
one, two, three, four excetra and their respective symbols 1,2,3,4… This is a group of numbers.
A group of numbers 1,2,3,4… is the set of counting numbers.
This set of numbers is called the Set of natural numbers and the numbers in this set are called Natural Numbers.
The symbol for set of Natural Numbers is ‘N’.
N={1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9….. }
That is, set of natural numbers starts from 1.
We can say that-
1 The value of natural number is increased from left to right.
2 The smallest natural number is 1.
3 If we go further from left to right, we get more numbers. There are innumerable numbers. There is no end to these numbers. So we cannot tell the biggest natural number.
