Number is a group of numerals. Now what is numeral? Numerals are the symbols to represent the numbers. Day to day life we need to count the objects, multiply or divide something to calculate. In speaking, we use number to explain something.
We shall take examples.
- I have to pay Rs. 45 for taxi fare.
Here I need to count rupees to pay.
At this situation we have to add 30 and 30 or multiply 30 by 2. There are so many examples in our day to day life where we need to simplify. And, for counting or simplifying we need numbers. Let us see numbers and names for those numbers.
