The sentence of the perfect present tense shows the completed action at the time of speaking. We use the form of ‘have’ with the past participle of the main verb in the perfect present tense

Use of ‘have’ in the perfect present tense

In this tense, we should use the forms of have in the present tense. There are two forms of ‘have’-

In sentence

  • For the subject I, we, you and they, we use ‘have’.
  • If the subject is he, she, it or any third person, singular number: we should use ‘has’.

Now, we shall take an example with three persons in tabular form. In this, we used pronouns I, we, you, he, she, it, and they to know better.
