Therefore the test for divisibility by 10 is-
- Numbers having 0 in the units place are divisible by 10.
We shall verify which of the numbers 450, 32124, 8720 are divisible by 10 .
1. Is 450 divisible by 10?
Let’s see-
By actually dividing 450 by 10, we get remainder 0.
So the number 450 is completely divisible by 10.
2. Is 32124 divisible by 10?
Let’s see-
By actually dividing 32124 by 10, we get remainder 4.
So the number 32124 is not completely divisible by 10.
3. Is 8720 divisible by 10?
By actual division, we get remainder 0.
So the number 8720 is completely divisible by 10.
