Perfect Future Tense- Completion of an Action
In Perfect Future Tense verb shows the completion of an action in future time. In this, we should use have with the past participle of the main verb. In the present perfect tense, we have seen that there is the use of have or has according to the subject. In perfect future tense, we should use a modal verb.
We use the modal verb with ‘have’ and past participle of the main verb. This tense is like perfect present tense, but in this tense, we should use modal. The only difference between perfect present and future is the use of a modal verb.
Let’s see how to use modal in the perfect future tense.
In this sentence, we should use one of the two modal verbs.
Those are-
- shall
- will
In this sentence-
- For the subject I and we, we should use modal verb-shall
- If the subject is a second or third person singular or plural, we should use- will.
