Perfect Past Tense- Completed Action
In Perfect Past Tense, the verb shows the completed action before the time of speaking in the past. In this tense, the past tense of ‘have’, that is ‘had’ is used with the past participle of a verb.
Use of have in the perfect past tense
- In this sentence, we should use the form of ‘have’ in the past tense.
- There is only one past form of have, and that is- had.
Now, we shall take an example with three persons in tabular form.

Here, we have taken an example using 1st, 2nd and 3rd person with singular as well as plural number.
