Perfect Past Tense- Completed Action
In Perfect Past Tense, verb shows the completed action before the time of speaking in the past. In this tense, the past tense of ‘have’ that is ‘had’ is used with the past participle of verb.
Use of have in perfect past tense
- In this sentence, we should use the form of have in past tense.
- There is only one past form of have and that is- had.
- Subject doesn’t matter.
- For first, second as well as third person, we use ‘had’.
Now, we shall take an example with three persons in tabular form.
