Passive voice of continuous present tense- How to form?
In the passive voice of continuous present tense, the sentence shows that the action is being done on the object. When we interchange the sentence, we should use an auxiliary verb with being and past participle of a verb in passive voice of continuous present tense.
We shall see examples of continuous present tense.
- I am typing a letter.
- They are cleaning the floor.
- We are playing the ball.
All of the above sentences are in the active voice.

Active voice and passive voice -formation in the continuous tense
Active voice
The sentence formation in continuous present tense active is-
- Subject + auxiliary verb + present participle of main verb + object
Passive voice
The sentence formation in continuous present tense passive is-
- Object + auxiliary verb + being + past participle of verb + by + subject
Now, here is a sentence and we have to change it into passive voice. We shall see how to change.
In a sentence-
- I am typing a letter.
Formation is –
Subject ‘I’ + auxiliary verb ‘am’ + present participle of ‘type’ + object
Let’s see the passive form of the above sentence.
Keeping formation rule in mind, we can write the above sentence in passive as;
- A letter is being typed by me.
Formation is-
Object ‘a letter’ + auxiliary verb ‘is’ + ‘being’ + past participle of ‘type’ + by + subject

Example of passive voice with three persons
To let you get easier, we shall take a sentence with three persons of singular and plural number.
Have a look-
1st person - I Active Voice I am finishing the work.
Passive Voice The work is being finished by me.
We Active Voice We are finishing the work.
Passive Voice The work is being finished by us.
2nd person - You Active Voice You are finishing the work.
Passive Voice The work is being finished by you.
You Active Voice You are finishing the work
Passive Voice The work is being finished by you.
3rd person - He Active Voice He is finishing the work.
Passive Voice The work is being finished by him.
She Active Voice She is finishing the work
Passive Voice The work is being finished by her.
They Active Voice They are finishing the work.
